The
‘Knowledge
Doc’
concept
emerged
over
a
period
of
five
years
(1999-2004)
and
after
careful
reflection
on
the
information
capture
and
knowledge
generation
and
dissemination
challenges
that
confront
organizations.
In
responding
to
the
identified
challenges,
the
directors
sought
to
help
organizations
by
establishing
a
comprehensive
framework
for
capturing
information
and
transforming
the
information
into
knowledge.
The
initial
focus
of
the
company
was
on
the
generation
of
‘value-documents’
from
client
events.
This
included
the
writing
of
event
summaries
and
reports,
resolutions
and
declarations,
and
the
production
of
event
publications.
