KNOWLEDGE DOC DIRECTORS:

Dr Anne McLennan (Chairperson ): Dr Anne McLennan has been a researcher and academic for over 15 years. Dr McLennan is a senior Governance and Management academic at the University of Witwatersrand . Anne continues to teach in a number of areas, including Governance, Policy and Development, Policy Implementation and Management, Education and School Governance and Management; and Management Development. Anne has published extensively and consults in a number of areas. Prior to joining the University, Anne worked for the Urban Foundation, a non-profit research organization. Dr McLennan has a PhD from the University of Liverpool and a Masters Degree from the University of Witwatersrand.

Mr. Salim Latib (Executive Director): Mr. Salim Latib has been active in capacity building and knowledge capture for over 10 years. Prior to establishing Knowledge Doc, Salim was contracted in government to manage a NEPAD capacity and knowledge exchange programme in Governance and Public Administration. Salim lectured at the University of Witwatersrand for four years and continues to lecture on a part-time basis. Salim has traveled extensively and spent approximately one year as a fellow at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States . Salim Latib has, amongst others, a Masters from the University of Witwatersrand and was awarded the Leonard Fine prize for being the best information technology management student on the MBA (1999) at the University of Witwatersrand.

Knowledge Doc (PTY) Ltd is established with the principle that longer term growth investments will be dependent on initial established value. Knowledge Doc has thus not actively pursued direct equity investments and has focused its attention on establishing the concept and building a client base for its services. In this start-up phase, Knowledge Doc receives development support from the DTI supported, Softstart Business Technology Incubator (SoftstartBTI). The Executive Director is also a active member of the Enablis Entrepreneurial Network.
